Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 20, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service between you and VClar. Violation of this AUP may result in immediate termination of your account.

You agree NOT to use VClar for any of the following:

1. Impersonation and Deceptive Misrepresentation

You must not use VClar to impersonate any person, misrepresent identity, or create deceptive audio or text. You may only upload recordings you are authorized to record and use, and you must have all required permissions and consents from any identifiable individuals.

2. Non-Consensual Recordings

Using audio recorded illegally or without the speaker's knowledge (e.g., wiretapping, covert surveillance recordings, or recordings made in violation of applicable consent laws). You must have proper authorization from all parties whose voices appear in any uploaded content.

3. Political Misinformation

Generating content intended to mislead voters, spread public confusion, or manipulate political discourse. This includes fabricating statements attributed to political figures, creating misleading campaign materials, or producing content designed to undermine democratic processes.

4. Hate Speech

Content that promotes violence, discrimination, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or any other protected characteristic. This includes threats, incitement to violence, and content designed to dehumanize or degrade individuals or groups.

5. Additional Prohibited Uses

  • Illegal Activity: Any use that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.

  • Fraud and Scams: Using polished audio for phishing, financial fraud, impersonation scams, or other deceptive practices.

  • Child Exploitation: Any content that exploits, harms, or endangers minors. We maintain zero tolerance for child safety violations.

  • Reverse Engineering: Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code, algorithms, or model weights of VClar.

  • Automated Abuse: Using bots, scrapers, or automated systems to access or collect data from the Service, or to circumvent usage limits.

  • Multiple Accounts: Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limitations or purchase restrictions.

  • Resale: Reselling, leasing, or commercially exploiting the Service or outputs without our express permission.

  • Adversarial Attacks: Attempting prompt injection, jailbreaking, model extraction, or any other technique designed to manipulate, bypass, or exploit the underlying AI systems. This includes crafting inputs specifically intended to cause the AI to produce unintended, harmful, or policy-violating outputs, or to reveal internal system prompts, configurations, or model behavior.

Enforcement

VClar reserves the right to immediately terminate any account suspected of violating this AUP without notice or refund. We may report illegal content to relevant authorities in India or the USA, and we will cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
